The Deuter Aircontact Core 45+10 SL **women's backpack** is the **ideal companion for long-distance hikes.**

It offers an **exceptionally comfortable, stable solution** for carrying **medium to heavy loads** over many kilometres, for example on the Camino de Santiago.

## Carrying system:

This Deuter backpack is specifically **tailored to the female body**: the shoulder straps are shorter and narrower, and the hip belt is conical.

Breathable foam lumbar pads with hollow chambers hold the pack against your back while providing **excellent airflow**: a **pumping effect** activates the AirContact pads with every movement, creating **circulating ventilation**. Moist air escapes all around. The result: **15% less perspiration** than with an ordinary trekking backpack and excellent load distribution.

In addition, the aluminium Y-frame in the back of the pack transfers weight perfectly onto the ergonomic hip belt.

Particularly with heavy loads, the flexible carrying comfort provided by the VariFlex hip stabilisers helps conserve energy.

This pivoting Vari Flex **hip belt** **follows the wearer's movements**, ensuring excellent load stability.

The back length adjustment system enables an ideal individual fit.

For practicality, the hip belt uses Pull-Forward fastening: simply pull forwards to tighten it, rather than sideways and backwards as on a conventional pack.

- Main compartment accessible from the top and bottom, with a bottom compartment separated from the main compartment by a zip;
- Mesh pocket on the front of the backpack for waterproof clothing, an IGN map, etc.;
- Hydration bladder compartment (up to 3L) inside the main compartment and a hose outlet;
- Removable lid with height adjustment to suit the load, and a zipped pocket containing the rain cover;
- 2 large stretch side pockets for water bottles, for example;
- 2 zipped pockets on the hip belt to keep a camera or snack within easy reach;
- Pole holder;
- Removable side compression straps;
- Chest strap;
- Compression strap over the extension collar;
- Attachment loops on the lid;
- Front equipment attachment loops;
- Reinforced base in extremely tough Duratex;
- Glasses holder and hydration hose loop on the shoulder straps

An extra practical feature: the compression straps are removable and can be positioned to suit your needs, on the lid, at the bottom, across the front or as side compression straps.
