The **Aircontact ultra 45+5 SL backpack** from **Deuter** is specially designed for **women** (and men under 1.70 m). It suits female hikers who enjoy ultralight backpacking.

## A lightweight yet comfortable backpack

**The Deuter Aircontact ultra 45+5 SL backpack** is **very lightweight** for a backpack in this capacity range, without sacrificing **comfort**.

The "Air spacer Mesh" back combines 3 functions: comfort, cushioning and ventilation. It provides a **comfortable, well-ventilated** back thanks to the spacing between the mesh fibres.

The steel back frame also provides good **load transfer** to the hip belt. The lumbar pad then transfers the weight to your pelvis. The hip belt wraps well around the front for maximum comfort.

It offers **numerous adjustments**, including back length, hip belt and chest straps, to fit most women.

## A well-equipped backpack

The main storage area has a single compartment with an extension collar accommodating an extra 5 litres. The lid is **removable** if you want to save weight, and also contains a large pocket.

The **compression straps** are also removable, so you can take them off to save weight or reposition them as needed. Loops at various points on the pack add versatility.

There are two lightweight mesh pockets on the hip belt. There are also 2 side pockets and a large mesh front pocket for a water bottle, waterproof clothing or other belongings.
