## Description

The **Osprey Eja 48 women's hiking backpack** perfectly combines **low weight** and carrying **comfort**. Its **suspended mesh back** and foam-and-mesh shoulder straps also make it highly **breathable**. The Osprey Eja 48 suits enthusiasts of **multi-day ultralight hiking in hot weather**. Its lid is removable to save even more weight.

## A lightweight, breathable carrying system

The Osprey Eja 48 lightweight hiking backpack has a **suspended mesh back.**It lets air circulate between your back and the pack, limiting perspiration. A slim aluminium frame supports the back. Mesh covers the full back length, so **the whole area in contact with the wearer is ventilated**.

- The breathable mesh shoulder straps are padded with **thicker foam over the shoulders**. They are height-adjustable.

- The adjustable hip belt is also lightly padded with thin, breathable foam.
- The Eja 48 pack has load-lifter straps.

## Storage

To keep weight down, the Osprey Eja 48 lightweight hiking backpack has streamlined storage. Its capacity is nevertheless more generous than the manufacturer's stated 48 L. It suits multi-day hiking with wild camping.

- A main compartment accessible only from the top.

- A hydration bladder compartment with a **hose outlet** sits inside the main compartment.

- The removable lid contains a zipped pocket on top and another underneath with a key clip. **The lid can be removed** **to reduce weight** further. A simple flap then closes the top of the rucksack.

- An open stretch pocket on the front of the pack, secured with a buckle, holds a map or waterproof clothing.
- Two open side pockets for water bottles, for example. Bottles can be positioned upright or at an angle for access without removing the pack.
- 2 zipped hipbelt pockets for a phone or snacks.

## Accessories

Accessories are comprehensive while keeping weight to a minimum:

- A pole and ice axe holder at the rear, plus a **pole holder on the shoulder straps for accessing your poles without taking off the pack.**
- Side compression straps.
- Straps at the bottom for attaching a tent or mat.
- Several attachment loops.
- A height-adjustable chest strap with a safety whistle.
- A carry handle sits at the top of the back panel.

The **Osprey Eja 48 backpack** does not include a rain cover. To protect it from rain, we recommend the [Highlander waterproof rucksac cover.](https://www.rayonrando.com/en/backpack-covers/712-medium-waterproof-rucksack-cover-rain-cover.html)

**Other features:**

- Main fabric: 100D high-tenacity nylon, **bluesign** certified, with PFC/PFFAS-free DWR (water-repellent) coating.

- Size M/L

_Passage to check in the video._

On

Donc,

Côté rangement, on a donc
