## Description

The **MSR Windburner duo stove system** is a **2-in-1** cooking system with an integrated stove and pot**.** It offers exceptional wind and cold resistance, making it a **high-performance stove** for **demanding weather conditions**.

It remains extremely **effective in all weather, despite wind, cold and altitude**, where conventional camping stoves can no longer boil water and consume plenty of gas.

Mountaineers and ski tourers, this stove is for you.

The Windburner duo stove system performs well in wind and very low temperatures thanks to several features:

- Its **radiant burner head** combines convection and radiant heat for performance conventional burners cannot match.
- Primary-air combustion and **the pot's integrated heat exchanger** allow the Windburner stove system to work perfectly in conditions that make other stoves unusable.
- Its **enclosed design**, with the stove screwing onto the pot, effectively protects the flame from wind.

This delivers excellent boil times and fuel efficiency.

This 1.8 L pot is ideal for preparing meals for 2 people. An **insulated protective sleeve with a handle** lets you hold it by hand and eat straight from it when hiking solo.

**Is it designed for wind and cold?**

This MSR cooking system is designed for demanding conditions, with a radiant burner head, an integrated pot heat exchanger and a stove that screws onto the pot to shelter the flame. It boils 0.5 L in 2 min 15 without wind and 2 min 45 in a 19 km/h wind. What conditions are you planning to cook in?

**What does this system contain?**

This cooking system includes a 1.8 L pot with an insulated sleeve, a strainer lid, burner, pressure regulator, folding canister stand and a 0.85 L graduated bowl. Everything packs inside the pot, weighing 697 g and measuring 20 x 13 cm. Will you mainly cook alone or for two?

**Which gas canister should I use?**

This stove uses threaded gas canisters, and MSR recommends its IsoPro canisters for optimal performance. It comes without a canister, with a folding stand to keep it stable and a pressure regulator for consistent performance. Which canister do you currently use?
