## Description

The Vaude Taurus 3P is a **lightweight 3-person hiking tent** that stands out in two ways:

- it offers **excellent wind stability** thanks to arched poles and a specially streamlined shape**,** and **very good waterproofing**, with a **flysheet** rated to **3,000 mm** and a **groundsheet** rated to **5,000 mm**. The frame consists of **poles** that are **lightweight and strong**, in 10.2 mm AL 7001 T6 aluminium.

- it is **spacious for 2 people** and remains **comfortable for 3** thanks to several features:

One pole tensions the wall at the head end, complemented at the foot end by 2 aluminium struts built into the fabric. These tension the foot-end wall to maintain generous internal space.

An aluminium strut at the front also creates a **porch with enough room to store bags and footwear.**

The Vaude Taurus 3 P tent also **pitches quickly and very easily thanks to its external pole system.** This is very handy in bad weather, allowing quick pitching without exposing the inside to rain, for example: the flysheet goes up first, then the inner tent clips inside, or can stay permanently clipped in for ultra-fast pitching if needed.

The Vaude tent comes with a pole repair kit and a watertight roll-top storage bag.

This Vaude Taurus 3P tent is spacious for two and comfortable for three, with an inner tent 230 cm long, 140 to 160 cm wide and 95 cm high. A head-end pole and two aluminium foot-end struts tension the fabric well, and a porch stores bags and footwear. It weighs 2.99 kg. How many people will be sleeping in it?

**Does it withstand wind and rain well?**

This tent uses 10.2 mm aluminium arched poles, providing good wind stability together with its streamlined shape. Its flysheet withstands 3,000 mm of water and its groundsheet 5,000 mm. Which region and season are you planning to pitch it in?

**How do you pitch it?**

This tent pitches quickly thanks to its external frame, allowing the flysheet to go up first before clipping in the inner, or leaving it permanently attached for faster pitching.
