## Description

The **Jamet Jaya 3 lightweight hiking tent** meets the needs of hikers seeking a spacious, ultralight and durable 3-person tent. Less expensive than the MSR Mutha Hubba NX, it is equally spacious, lightweight and waterproof. However, compared with the Mutha Hubba NX, the Jamet Jaya 3 is recommended for warm-weather use.

## Generous space for three people combined with low weight

The **Jaya 3** is a **freestanding** tent supported by a single DAC pole. Its inner tent is spacious for three people, and the 110 cm roof height lets you sit comfortably.
The inner also accommodates 3 regular sleeping mats with room left for a little storage.
Its **2 large porches** let everyone store their backpack and shoes. The **2 entrances** are practical for avoiding disturbing each other.

## A durable, well-ventilated tent

The **Jamet Jaya 3** lightweight tent offers good **durability** thanks to its single aluminium pole. It also resists rain with a 3000 mm waterproof 30D ripstop polyester groundsheet with welded seams, and a 2000 mm silicone-coated polyester flysheet, also with welded seams.
The inner is entirely insect mesh, giving good ventilation when camping in hot weather but less protection in cold weather (unlike the [MSR Mutha Hubba NX lightweight hiking tent](https://www.rayonrando.com/en/lightweight-hiking-tents/1141-mutha-hubba-nx-lightweight-hiking-tent.html)). Vents in the flysheet help reduce condensation effectively.
Several guying points on the flysheet secure the tent in bad weather.
For an even lighter load when hiking in hot, dry weather, the Jaya 3 can be used without its flysheet. Alternatively, use just the flysheet with a footprint tailored to this tent, sold separately: the Jamet Jaya 3 footprint.

This Jaya 3 is a freestanding three-person tent supported by a single DAC pole, weighing 1.98 kg, light when shared between three packs. Its mesh inner provides excellent ventilation, making it best suited to warm-weather outings. Who are you planning to go with, and in what season?

**How much room does it offer inside?**

This tent has an inner 230 cm long and 170 to 190 cm wide, with 110 cm of headroom, enough for three regular sleeping mats and a little storage space. Everyone has porch space for their pack and shoes, and the two entrances avoid disturbing each other. How big are the people in your group?
