The **Ferrino Piuma 2** lightweight hiking tent is a double-wall tunnel tent for 2 hikers, with an **excellent strength-to-weight ratio** for hikes where every gram counts.

## A robust tent in the featherweight category

At **1.30 kg for 2 people**, the Piuma 2 belongs to the **ultralight tents** category, often involving compromises in fabric strength. This tent is an exception:

The **duraluminium** frame provides strength and flexibility. These poles pair with **durable fabrics** (against tearing and abrasion) in 20 D and 30 D ripstop nylon. The **silicone coating** on each fabric maintains very low weight while improving resistance to rubbing, UV and rain.

The Piuma 2's **tunnel shape** also reduces wind exposure and provides secure pitching.

## Adaptable and practical

With this lightweight hiking tent, you **can use just the flysheet with the poles**, lightening your backpack further and increasing available interior space.

Alongside its small side porch, this tent has a **dedicated gear porch**, accessible through a small zipped hatch, very practical for storing your water bottle, stove and more.

Once packed, the Piuma 2 is very compact, with a **size suitable for attachment to bike handlebars.**

This Piuma 2 is a double-wall tunnel tent for two, designed for hikes where every gram counts, weighing 1.4 kg and packing down to 35 x 15 x 12 cm. Its silicone-coated ripstop nylon fabrics provide strength despite its low weight. Are you going alone or as a pair, and for how many nights?

**Can you pitch just the flysheet?**
