Its **3.8 cm thickness is relatively comfortable**, yet it remains **very light** thanks to lightweight structured fabrics with a fine texture applied to create a softer, non-slip sleeping surface.

The die-cut construction also reduces the self-inflating mat's weight without compromising its ability to distribute weight evenly.

The Prolite Plus self-inflating mat also provides **better thermal insulation** than thinner mats, which can be useful for 3-season use.
