## Which size should I choose?

**Choosing the right size:**

- Measure your foot as follows: standing with your heel against a wall, measure the length of **your foot + one finger's width,** to allow a little extra room for comfort. This accommodates swelling as you walk and ensures your toes do not hit the end of the shoe.

- Refer to the shoe size conversion chart and compare your measurement with **the insole size**.

## A question about this product?

**Which size should I choose?**

For these G Trek 4 Goretex boots, Millet provides the insole length for each size, for example 27.3 cm in 42 and 28.3 cm in 43 1/3. It is common to add a finger's width to your foot length, as feet swell while walking and toes need some space on descents. Roughly what is your measured foot length?

**What kind of hikes are they designed for?**

These Millet hiking boots are designed for varied terrain, with soft leather and Gore-Tex uppers, a high-cut upper supporting the ankle and a Vibram sole that is neither too flexible nor too firm. A rubber rand protects the forefoot, heel and sides. What type of terrain do you walk on most often?

**How does it differ from the G Trek 5 GTX (men's)?**

These G Trek 4 weigh 600 g per boot in size 42, compared with 665 g for the G Trek 5, whose firmer sole is designed for multi-day treks on rough terrain. With a sole that is neither too flexible nor too firm, this G Trek 4 is more versatile. Do your outings mainly last one day or several days?
