**Meindl Borneo 2 MFS** hiking boots are a classic choice for hikers seeking **excellent lasting comfort** as well as **secure support and good grip on all terrain**, even with heavy loads.

They are therefore ideal for **self-sufficient long-distance hiking**, including **demanding treks**.

## Outstanding comfort and support: waxed leather + memory foam

Both the **outer** and the **lining** are **entirely leather**, giving this hiking boot **durability** and **structure** as well as **comfort**.

The outer upper is made from **waxed leather**. The wax stays on the material's surface, forming a moisture-resistant layer. To preserve this natural waterproofing, remember to apply wax to your boots from time to time.

Meindl's **Memory Foam System** (MFS) allows the boot to **fit your foot perfectly**. Warmth from your foot moulds the interior to follow every contour. Meindl boots with MFS maximise comfort without pinching or pressure.

The high upper **provides excellent ankle support**.

## Precise, grippy Vibram sole:

The **Vibram sole** (Meindl Multigriff) provides **excellent grip** while remaining lightweight and offering traction. Its firm construction gives your foot **maximum precision and responsiveness**, essential for sure footing on uneven or rocky ground.
