## Description

Nights can always be colder than expected. The **Sea To Summit Reactor Midweight sleeping bag liner** is designed to **improve the warmth and comfort of your sleeping system** while remaining light and compact. It is a useful option for spring and autumn hikes, wild camping at altitude or gaining a few degrees of comfort when your sleeping bag reaches its limits.

This liner **can replace a fleece sleeping bag liner**, providing a **greater increase in warmth** while being **much more compact and lightweight.**

## More warmth without extra bulk

The **Reactor Midweight** uses **Thermolite® Pro technology**, combining hollow fibres with ceramic pigments that absorb and re-emit the infrared radiation naturally produced by the body.

Its main benefits:

- **Retains** more **body heat**.
- **Hollow fibres** that trap warm air.
- **Far-infrared technology** that helps retain heat.
- Excellent **warmth-to-weight** ratio.
- Takes up **very little space** in your backpack.

Please bear in mind that Sea To Summit claims an **increase in warmth of up to +6°C**. As with all liners, this figure is indicative and does not correspond to a standard comparable to that used for sleeping bags. You should therefore see this liner as an extra layer of insulation to improve comfort, rather than a way to turn a three-season bag into an extreme-cold sleeping bag.

**For example:**

- If your sleeping bag is suitable for temperatures around 5°C, the Reactor Midweight can provide extra comfort on a chilly night.
- If you expect sub-zero temperatures, it is still preferable to use a sleeping bag designed for those conditions.

## A comfortable, versatile sleeping bag liner

The Reactor Midweight is designed to offer **excellent freedom of movement** during the night.

Particularly useful features include:

- The **stretch knit fabric** that moves naturally with your body.
- The **arm openings** that let you read, cook or handle equipment without getting out of the liner.
- The **mummy shape with a close-fitting hood** to reduce heat loss.
- The comfortable feel against your skin.
- **Compatibility with many sleeping bags**.

**Press studs** at the shoulders also allow easy integration with certain Sea To Summit sleeping bags for easier entry and exit.

## Easier care

The Reactor Midweight also helps protect your sleeping bag by reducing the build-up of dirt.

Its practical benefits:

- HeiQ Fresh **odour-control technology**.
- Maintains a **fresh feel** for longer.
- Less frequent washing of your sleeping bag.
- **Machine washable**.
- **Quick drying**.
- **Compact** size for easy carrying.
- Storage **case** included.

## **Other features:**

- Fabric made from certified recycled Thermolite® Pro fibres.
- bluesign® APPROVED certified materials.

**Thermolite Ecodemade:** Plastic bottles are collected, cleaned and turned into flakes. They are then converted into chips, spun into fibres and yarn, and finally woven into your liner. This fibre is blended into the Reactor and Reactor Extreme liners.

**Thermolite Pro:** THERMOLITE® PRO far-infrared fibre technology uses lightweight hollow fibres with special ceramic pigments that generate warmth for your body. Liners made with FIR fibre absorb far-infrared radiation emitted by the body more effectively and return it to the wearer. This heat transfer through re-emission effectively improves body heat retention. This fibre is blended into the Reactor and Reactor Extreme liners.

Alors, Sea to Summit utilise la même fibre.

[2:57](https://www.rayonrando.com/en/sleeping-bag-liners/1570-reactor-midweight-sleeping-bag-liner.html#video-DBbaBRqUTYI-t-177) thermique.
