The **Husky Samont 60+10 travel backpack** stands out for its **large capacity** and **adjustable size.** It is ideal for travelling when you sometimes need to carry all your equipment and at other times just your belongings for the day.

## A small removable backpack for day walks:

**A small travel backpack (230 g)** of around ten litres **zips onto the main pack** and can be used for short walks while the large pack stays at base camp or the hotel.

This small pack has a zipped front pocket and a large zipped main compartment.

The back and shoulder straps are padded.

A small reflective detail at the bottom of the pack adds safety when cycling, for example.

All zips have pull tabs, making opening and closing easier when wearing gloves.

## A generous main pack for travelling and long-distance hiking:

- **The main backpack itself is adjustable:**

At the top, an extension collar and height-adjustable lid offer around ten extra litres when needed.

On the sides, 2 large zipped bellows pockets increase its capacity further.

It is designed for carrying over long periods when travelling or hiking.

## Carrying system:

Adjustable carrying system with a duraluminium frame, and padded, breathable mesh back, hip belt and shoulder straps.

Ventilation channel along the spine and at the sides for good airflow behind your back.

- Load lifters on the shoulder straps;
- Adjustable chest strap.

- Main compartment with top access, zipped bottom access and 2 zipped side openings, giving easy access to contents without emptying everything.
- The main compartment is divided in 2 by a removable drawcord divider;
- An external zipped pocket on the lid;
- A zipped pocket inside the lid.
- Hydration bladder sleeve with drinking tube outlet;
- Elasticated front cord with cord locks for attaching a garment, for example;
- 2 elasticated mesh side pockets for your water bottle or rainwear;
- 1 zipped pocket on the right hip belt for your wallet or camera;
- Gear holder on the hip belt.

## **Accessories:**

- 2 pole/ice axe holders with quick-tightening and releasing cords;
- Attachment straps underneath and at the bottom of the pack for a tent and groundsheet;

**Is this backpack right for my activity?**

This Samont backpack is a companion for extended travel and long-distance hiking, with 60 litres expandable by 10 litres through its extension collar and side bellows pockets, and a carrying system with a duraluminium frame. It fits well into journeys where the scenery changes often. How long will your trip be, and what kind of stages are you planning?

**What is the small removable pack for?**

This Samont comes with a small backpack of around ten litres that zips onto the large pack and weighs just 230 g, for day walks while the main pack stays at base camp or the hotel. It has a zipped main compartment and a front pocket. Will your trip involve moving on each day, or exploring from a fixed base?

**How do you access your belongings?**

This Samont backpack opens in several ways: from the top, through zipped bottom access and through two side openings, so you can reach the bottom without emptying everything. A removable divider also splits the main compartment in two, and a hydration bladder can be slipped inside. How do you like to organise your belongings on a long trip?
