Atmos AG 50 hiking backpack
Lightweight hiking backpack, very comfortable even with a heavy load, with exceptional ventilation. Excellent stability. Suspended mesh back panel and adjustable back length
The Osprey Atmos AG 50 hiking backpack is designed for fully self-sufficient multi-day hiking.
It offers excellent carrying comfort even with heavy loads thanks to its AG Antigravity system, which holds the pack away from your back while allowing the back length to be adjusted.
The Osprey AG Atmos 50 pack has numerous pockets and accessories, and its main compartment can also be accessed from the sides.
Excellent carrying comfort, even with heavy loads
The Osprey AG Antigravity carrying system features a ventilated mesh back panel for optimal ventilation while maintaining good stability, as the load stays fairly close to your back.
Unlike many mesh-back backpacks, it has an adjustable back length system to fit different backs.
- The shoulder straps combine perforated foam, with extra padding over the shoulders, and breathable mesh fabric.
- The hip belt is also made from mesh fabric to reduce perspiration, and the system wraps comfortably around the hips to stabilise the load.
- Load-lifter straps.
- Several compression straps, including one inside the pack, keep everything securely in place.
The shoulder straps and hip belt also stretch to adapt closely to different body shapes.
Storage
The Osprey Atmos AG 50 hiking backpack has several large pockets for easy access to your equipment.
- A main compartment accessible from the top and through a robust zipped opening at the bottom of the pack. It can also be accessed through zips on each side of the pack.
- The main compartment is divided in two by a removable divider.
- An open stretch pocket on the front, secured with a buckle, holds waterproof clothing or a map.
- Two zipped pockets on the hip belt.
- Two open water bottle pockets, one on each side.
- A removable lid with 2 zipped pockets.
- A small pocket for the rain cover at the bottom of the pack.
Features
Designed for long-distance hiking, the Atmos AG 50 backpack is particularly well equipped while remaining lightweight:
- A removable rain cover (110 g)
- Pole and ice axe attachments on the back, plus a front pole holder so you can reach your poles without taking off your pack.
- Straps at the bottom of the pack for attaching a sleeping mat or tent.
