Snowshoes

Enjoy safer snowshoe hikes by choosing snowshoes from our TSL selection. Depending on occasional or intensive use and the terrain, choose the right level of grip and comfort.

SIZE:

All our TSL snowshoe models come in 2 sizes, sometimes 3:

Sizes 305,418 and M are intended for women and men under 1m70. Sizes 325, 438 and L are wider and longer, so better suited to men over 1m70, or even over 1m75 for TSL Highlander models. Weight also matters, but snowshoes that are too large for your height may hinder movement because of their dimensions.

USE - TERRAIN:

It is also important to choose snowshoes according to your intended use and terrain:

  • For occasional or beginner hikers, we offer TSL Elévation and Initial snowshoes.

They are ideal for discovering winter hiking and less demanding walks on fairly easy terrain, such as resort Nordic trails and moderate slopes.

For this terrain, they provide good lateral grip with 6 interchangeable steel crampons in addition to the front claw.

  • For strong grip on traverses and slopes, and for demanding hikes, we recommend TSL Up&Down Grip snowshoes, with a heel lift that keeps your foot level on climbs and descents, or TSL Highlander snowshoes with highly grippy steel rails and a large frame.
  • For intensive use or a more natural stride, we offer TSL Symbioz flexible snowshoes. These are the first snowshoes to adapt to your gait and terrain through their supple, flexible construction.

ADJUSTMENT - COMFORT:

Our TSL hiking snowshoes also differ in their fastening systems, comfort and ease of adjustment:

  • Set your shoe size once using the ratchet adjustment, along with forefoot width.
  • Depending on the snowshoe range, different systems adjust forefoot tightness: straps, a dial or a clip.
  • The instep strap also adjusts easily using a tightening lever that is simple to operate with gloves.
  • A heel lift makes long climbs easier. By raising your heel, it keeps your foot more level uphill, useful on steeper snowshoe hikes. Some heel lifts operate by hand; others deploy directly by pressing with your pole, avoiding bending down and clearing snow to position them.

TSL models have S.S.A.S. noise absorbers for peaceful outings and a wasp-waisted frame for a natural stride.
