418 Up & Down Grip snowshoes

These high-grip snowshoes have all the features needed for demanding winter hiking.

The TSL 418 Up & Down Grip snowshoes offer very strong grip on traverses, descents and climbs, with their 6 interchangeable steel crampons, front claw, side claws and specially designed 3D shape.

They also let you walk quietly thanks to the S.S.A.S. sound absorber and hourglass-shaped frame for a natural stride.

Their shape suits women and men under 1.70 m tall. For taller women and men, we recommend the TSL 438 Up & Down Grip snowshoes.

 

 

 Adjustment is quick and suits all types of trekking and mountaineering footwear:

- simple, ultra-fast boot-size adjustment using a ratchet: just slide the rear part of the binding forwards or backwards;

  

FRONT OF THE BINDING:
This new binding system has, for each foot:
- two straps to pre-adjust the fit to your foot.
- a quick buckle for optimal tightening with boot-size memory.

REAR OF THE BINDING:
- Heel retention with a ratchet instep strap for a precise, quick fit

UP & DOWN HEEL LIFT

 

This heel lift reduces the effects of slopes both uphill and downhill. On descents, the back of the binding drops below the deck to keep your foot level, preventing it sliding against the front of your boot.
