The Gregory Zulu 55 hiking backpack is a lightweight, well-equipped backpack made from tough materials. An ideal backpack for multi-day self-sufficient hikes. It has a suspended mesh back panel that stays fairly close to your back and a hip belt that wraps comfortably around your waist.

The main feature of the Gregory Zulu 55 hiking backpack is its suspended mesh back panel, which stays fairly close to your back. It combines good airflow between your back and the pack to reduce perspiration with the comfort of even load distribution across your back and hips. The well-padded, wraparound hip belt further enhances carrying comfort.

Storage
The Gregory Zulu 55 hiking backpack has a main compartment accessible from the top and through a U-shaped suitcase-style opening, giving easy access to all the contents. The main compartment has a removable divider, allowing you to store dirty clothing separately, for example. This bottom compartment is also accessible through a zip at the base of the pack.
The Zulu 55 hiking backpack features:
- A hydration bladder sleeve in the main compartment, with a hose outlet
- A removable lid with a zipped pocket on top and another underneath containing a removable rain cover
- Two generous zipped hip belt pockets
- Two large stretch pockets on the sides of the pack for water bottles, for example
- An open stretch front pocket with clip closure, holding rainwear or a map.
