Ubic 55+15 hiking backpack

The Millet Ubic 55+15 hiking backpack is comfortable, tough and versatile. Its capacity and features suit medium-length and long hikes, mountaineering or travelling.

It stands out in particular for its expandable 55L capacity (+15L) and suitcase-style access to the bottom of the pack.

 

Carrying system: 

The comfortable carrying system of the Millet Ubic 55+15 hiking backpack is well suited to heavy loads:

• Its ergonomic contact back panel sits close to your back, with thermoformed pads covered in stretch fabric and ventilation channels;
• The back length is adjustable for a perfect fit;
• The back is stiffened by 2 aluminium stays that transfer the load effectively to the hip belt;
•  The contoured shoulder straps wrap comfortably around you, and the hip belt has an ergonomic profile to help distribute the load evenly. 
• Load lifter straps and an adjustable sternum strap complete the carrying system.

 

Features:

• Expandable main compartment with a long side zip for easy access to the upper part of your pack;
• A U-shaped suitcase-style opening for easy access to the lower part of your pack;
• Height-adjustable lid with 2 zipped pockets: one inside with a key clip and one outside containing the rain cover;
• 1 large quick-access front pocket with a metal buckle closure;
• 1 zipped front pocket in tough ripstop fabric;
• 2 large stretch mesh side pockets;
• 1 large expandable zipped hip belt pocket;
• Hydration bladder sleeve inside the main compartment, with a drinking tube outlet;
• 2 hand-rest straps;
• Gear straps at the bottom of the pack for attaching a tent or sleeping mat;
• 2 lower side compression straps;
• Removable rain cover (take it off to save 100g).
• Variloop gear carrying system: this system lets you carry any alpine or wild camping equipment, such as poles, skis, ice axes, snowshoes, a tent or sleeping mat...It is removable and size-adjustable using reinforced straps and attachment loops. 

 

Finally, this is a tough Millet backpack with a reinforced base, strong seams and a water-repellent finish.
