Fizan

Today, Fizan poles accompany day hikes and treks lasting several weeks alike. Their low weight, compact size and ease of use make them popular companions on all terrain.

Fizan trekking poles: low weight and performance on all terrain

Fizan trekking poles are designed to improve walking comfort and reduce fatigue on mountain outings or rolling trails.

Using poles helps:

• Relieve strain on joints on descents;
• Improve balance on technical terrain;
• Distribute effort between upper and lower body;
• Increase stability when carrying a loaded backpack.

With their lightweight design, Fizan poles quickly feel unobtrusive while walking, yet provide real support when terrain becomes more demanding.

The brand particularly favours aluminium, a material known for its excellent balance between weight, strength and durability. This quality particularly appeals to trekkers and long-distance hikers.

Fizan Compact poles, a leading choice among hikers

The Fizan Compact range is one of the brand's most popular. It is regularly chosen by hikers wanting to reduce equipment weight without sacrificing reliability.

Fizan Compact

The Fizan Compact has become a signature model. Lightweight, telescopic and compact when collapsed, it suits day hikes and long journeys alike.

Its aluminium construction provides excellent strength while keeping weight particularly low.

Fizan Compact Pro

The Fizan Compact Pro builds on the qualities behind the range's success, adding improvements for regular users. Its comfort and finish make it a popular choice for demanding hikes and multi-day treks.

Why Fizan Compact poles appeal to ultralight enthusiasts

Low weight has become an important criterion for many hikers. Compact models meet this need through:

• Low weight;
• Small packed size;
• Easy transport;
• Robustness suited to long distances.

They therefore offer an excellent solution for lightweight and ultralight hikers.

Fizan telescopic or folding poles: how to choose

The choice between a telescopic and folding pole mainly depends on your activity.

Telescopic poles appeal for:

• Versatility;
• A wide adjustment range;
• Robustness;
• Easy maintenance.

Folding poles offer:

• Minimal packed size;
• Easy storage inside or on a backpack;
• Quick deployment.

For versatile hiking and trekking use, telescopic models often remain the most popular choice. Folding models better suit users seeking maximum space savings.

Fizan Nordic walking poles

Fizan also develops poles dedicated to Nordic walking.

Designed for dynamic movement, these models improve propulsion and engage the upper body more. They offer good comfort for users wanting to maintain fitness or exercise regularly.

Their low weight makes sessions more enjoyable while reducing fatigue.

Fizan accessories and spare parts

One advantage of choosing Fizan poles is the availability of many accessories and replacement parts.

You can find:

• Protective tip covers;
• Baskets for different terrain;
• Replacement tips;
• Accessories compatible with several of the brand's models.

This availability extends equipment life and helps you maintain your poles effectively through the seasons.

How to choose your Fizan trekking poles

Which length should you choose?

The right length mainly depends on your height. When holding the pole on level ground, your elbow should form an angle close to 90°.

Adjustable Fizan models let you easily adapt the length to the terrain.

Aluminium or carbon?

Aluminium remains the preferred choice for hikers seeking robustness and versatility.

Carbon generally offers further weight savings and better vibration absorption, but may be less tolerant of significant impacts.

For which type of hiking?

For day hiking, a lightweight, versatile model is generally enough.

For trekking or long journeys, choose a model offering an excellent balance between low weight, comfort and strength.

Which Fizan model for trekking and long-distance hiking?

Compact models are among the most suitable for long distances. Their low weight reduces fatigue accumulated over several days while maintaining good reliability outdoors.
