Polaris Optifuel camping stove

The Polaris Optifuel from Optimus is a multi-fuel stove that works with both liquid fuels and gas canisters.

It is very well made and highly versatile, adapting well to demanding conditions.

It is lightweight and very compact (fits in one hand).

The advantage of this stove is that you can use both liquid fuels and gas canisters without changing the jet.

• Liquid fuels: white gas / kerosene / diesel / lamp oil.

• Gas canisters: butane / propane / isobutane.

It therefore lets you handle any situation. 

 

Reliable and easy to use:

• a patented quick-priming burner with rapid preheating for lower fuel consumption

• an aluminium self-purging pump and integrated magnetic cleaning needle that ensure a steady fuel supply and allow quick, easy jet maintenance, even while cooking

• a 4-season mode with an inverted canister when using a gas canister, for greater output (especially at low temperatures or to reduce cooking time).

Fuel consumption: up to 1 hour 45 of full-power burn time from 400 mL of fuel or a 230 g gas canister.

Performance: under normal weather and altitude conditions, 3 minutes 40 to boil 1 L of water with liquid fuel, or 4 minutes with a gas canister.
