The Petzl NAO RL is a rechargeable headtorch delivering up to 1 500 lumens in REACTIVE LIGHTING mode. At this setting, the light adapts automatically and runtime varies from 2 to 24 h depending on conditions. In STANDARD LIGHTING mode, MAX POWER delivers 900 lumens with a stated runtime of 2 h.

Its beam can also adapt automatically to conditions in REACTIVE LIGHTING mode. This helps optimise battery use, minimise manual adjustments and provide visual comfort. REACTIVE LIGHTING mode lets you:

look at your map: it provides moderate-intensity light;
raise your head and look into the distance: it instantly projects a powerful beam up to 200 m.

Powerful lighting

Output ranges from 10 to 1500 lumens! It illuminates up to 200 m at full power. This headtorch therefore suits trail running, mountain biking, orienteering and demanding activities of all kinds.

A steady or flashing red light on the battery at the rear of the headtorch signals your presence, particularly when running or trail running.

Rechargeable battery

This headtorch also has an R1 Li-ion 3200 mAh rechargeable battery that performs very well at low temperatures. The battery has an estimated life of 300 cycles, after which its capacity is around 30% below the original. It charges easily using its built-in USB C port. Runtime ranges from 2 to 80 h depending on the mode used. A 5-level indicator shows battery charge.

The R1 battery can be bought separately as a spare. The R1 battery can also serve as a power bank to charge your phone or another device.

Stability

Finally, the adjustable headband ensures the light sits securely on your head. It packs away easily for transport, and an additional top strap is supplied for technical activities:
