A spacious, lightweight tent

The Hubba hubba LT 2 has a new pole system that increases its space. The interior is longer, wider and higher, ideal for wide sleeping mats, taller hikers or extra gear.
The longer cross pole also creates more upright walls for excellent interior comfort.
Each porch has ample room for trekking backpacks.
The nylon fabrics, combined with silicone (FPAS-free) and DAC poles, create a very lightweight hiking tent.

A durable, breathable tent

Among lightweight hiking tents, the Hubba hubba LT 2 uses a relatively robust fabric: 20D ripstop nylon. For weather protection, the fabrics have a PFAS-free DWR silicone coating, optimised for weight and protection against rain and UV rays.
Included guy lines stabilise the tent effectively to withstand strong winds. The solid fabric around the lower inner tent has been raised to better protect hikers from cold draughts.
For breathability, this Hubba hubba LT 2 has several features to reduce condensation:

  • predominantly micro mesh fabric, allowing the inner tent to breathe while keeping insects out.
  • A high-level opening in the flysheet to release air.

Simple pitching and practical storage

The MSR Hubba hubba LT 2 tent is very simple to pitch, with a connected pole set that is easy to assemble. Simply clip it to the inner tent and add the flysheet on top.
The tent packs away easily into its user-friendly storage bag with a roll-top opening and compression straps.
Several storage pockets inside the inner tent include battery cable ports, and there are cords for hanging a little washing.
Pegs are included.
