Hubba Hubba HD 2P lightweight hiking tent

The MSR Hubba hubba HD 2 hiking tent is the toughest tent in the Hubba hubba range. It combines durability with low weight and generous interior space. It is ideal for 3-season hiking with effective protection from wind and rain.

Low weight and optimal 3-season protection

The Hubba hubba HD 2 tent achieves an excellent strength-to-weight ratio for handling bad weather, thanks in particular to:

• ripstop nylon groundsheet and flysheet for greater resistance to abrasion and tension in strong winds.
• silicone coating that gives the flysheet a 3000 mm waterproof rating and the groundsheet 6000 mm, ready to withstand heavy rain.
• a set of DAC aluminium poles, renowned for low weight and strength, with a larger-than-usual diameter of 9.3 mm
• included guy lines to secure the tent in strong winds.

Interior comfort and easy pitching

The Hubba hubba HD 2 is a very spacious and bright tent:

• interior dimensions that easily accommodate 2 sleeping mats with space around them. The available length also accommodates taller people.
• Fairly upright walls increase the space, making it comfortable to get changed or spend time inside.
• white fabric keeps the interior bright, while breathable nylon shelters you from the wind and retains warmth.
• 2 large porches, one on each side, accommodate your trekking backpacks.

Mesh openings in the upper inner tent help ventilate it to reduce condensation. They align with flysheet vents held open by stays to release humid air outside.

The inner tent is also well equipped to make time spent inside enjoyable:

• several storage spaces, including small and large pockets, with cable ports for a power bank, for example.
• cords for hanging washing

The Hubba hubba HD 2 tent is very simple to pitch, with a connected pole set that is easy to assemble. Simply clip it to the inner tent and add the flysheet on top.
The tent packs away easily into its storage bag with a roll-top opening and compression straps.
