Hogan SUL 2P lightweight hiking tent

The Vaude Hogan SUL 2 P tent is the ultra-light version of the Hogan Ultra-light. It suits anyone wanting to save more weight while retaining the Hogan Ultra-light's essential features.

A construction with minimal wind exposure and protection against rain:

 Wind resistance:

• the tent is streamlined to reduce wind exposure.
• The poles connect through a central hub for greater structural strength. They are very high-quality DAC Featherlight poles.

Rain resistance:

• The tent's 20 D ripstop nylon flysheet is silicone-coated on both sides (3,000 mm waterproof rating).
• A high-quality groundsheet in 30 D ripstop polyamide with polyurethane coating (3,000 mm waterproof rating) and formic acid resistance is also included.

The poles and fabrics are thinner than on the Hogan Ultra Light, explaining the weight difference, but waterproofing remains high for a tent of this weight.

Improved living space thanks to a transverse pole:

A major strength of the Hogan tent is its living space:

• The inner is comfortable for 2. An extra transverse strut pushes the wall out, creating generous room in the upper section (around 2/3 of the length) for comfortable sitting. This is complemented by 2 aluminium struts built into the fabric at the feet, maintaining good foot-end space and fabric tension.
• The porch is also spacious thanks to an aluminium strut at the front, creating enough room for two hikers' bags and footwear.
  
• The door's two-way zip lets you partly open the top to create a small window without exposure to the weather.
• The inner has several storage options: 1 pocket on each side, 1 hanging cord and 1 small translucent ceiling pocket for a light.

 The tent pitches very easily thanks to its connected poles articulated around a hub, as well as its attachment clips and double guylines (see our video).
