Starlight 2 Exp lightweight hiking tent

The Robens Startlight 2 Exp is a lightweight 3-season tent designed to withstand wind and rain.

Strong wind and rain resistance:

This tent uses robust materials to handle 3-season conditions:

• A flysheet with a 5,000 mm waterproof rating in 75 D Hydrotex HD polyester
• A groundsheet with a 10,000 mm waterproof rating.

The construction, with its central pole, is streamlined for strong wind resistance: the Robens Starlight 2 was tested for wind resistance averaging up to 145 km/h, with peaks of 160 km/h. Straps and guylines provide secure anchoring.

Quick external pitching:

The Starlight 2 Exp is also designed to pitch very quickly, handy in bad conditions:

• It pitches flysheet first, allowing the inner tent to go up at the same time by keeping it clipped to the flysheet.
• One main pole, onto which the flysheet's double hooks clip easily.
  
• 4 aluminium struts at the ends remain permanently fitted, optimising internal room at the head and feet.
  

The tent has one side door and one porch. The door has insect mesh, which also improves ventilation.

The Robens Starlight 2 Exp is compact and lightweight for a 3-season tent. For more living space in both the inner and porches, consider the Robens Lodge 2 Exp tent, although it is a little heavier, bulkier and slower to pitch.
