Jaya 2 DAC lightweight hiking tent

The Jamet Jaya 2 lightweight hiking tent DAC meets the needs of hikers seeking a spacious, ultralight and durable 2-person tent. Less expensive than the MSR Hubba Hubba NX tent, it is just as spacious, lightweight and waterproof. Ideal for summer use.

Generous space for two people with low weight

The Jaya 2 is a freestanding tent using a double-forked DAC pole.

The inner tent is spacious enough for two people:

• The 105 cm roof height makes it comfortable for 2 to sit up, helped by a transverse aluminium pole creating vertical walls for generous space from floor to ceiling.
• The inner floor accommodates 2 regular sleeping mats without crowding, with room left for a little storage.
• Its length suits taller people, unlike many lightweight tents.

Its 2 large porches each store a backpack and footwear. The 2 entrances let you come and go without disturbing each other.

A durable, well-ventilated tent

The lightweight Jamet Jaya 2 tent offers good durability thanks to its single DAC pole system.

It is tougher than other lightweight tents thanks to its fabrics: a 30D ripstop polyester groundsheet with welded seams and 3000 mm waterproofing, and a 2000 mm silicone-coated polyester flysheet, also with welded seams.

The inner tent is entirely mesh, providing good ventilation for warm-weather wild camping but less protection in cold weather, unlike the MSR Hubba Hubba NX lightweight hiking tent. Vents in the flysheet help control condensation effectively.

2 guyline attachment points on the fabric allow more secure pitching when needed.

To carry even less in hot, dry weather, the Jaya 2 tent can be used without its flysheet. Alternatively, use just the flysheet with a groundsheet made specifically for this tent, sold separately: the Jamet Jaya 2 groundsheet.
