Sella 3 lightweight backpacking tent

The Jamet Sella 3 backpacking tent is a good solution for anyone looking for a spacious, robust tent that offers good value for money.

It provides 3 proper sleeping spaces with regular sleeping mats or a mix of wide and regular mats.

The comfort of a spacious interior:

The Jamet Sella's construction maximises internal space, with a central pole section that pulls the walls upright and generous headroom (115 cm). This lets you sit comfortably to get changed or read, for example.

Two entrances and 2 porches let hikers come and go without getting in each other's way and provide generous storage space under each porch.

Robust materials and construction:

The construction materials prioritise durability, while being a little heavier than high-end ultralight tents:

• The groundsheet's 5000 mm waterproof rating is particularly welcome, as is the flysheet's 3000 mm rating, making it more robust than ultralight tents.

• The streamlined, freestanding structure provides good wind resistance.

• The 2 vents provide good ventilation

Other features:

• Flysheet: PU-coated 210T/70D ripstop polyester (3000 mm)
• Inner tent: polyester and insect mesh
• Groundsheet: PU-coated 190T/70D polyester (5000 mm)
• Frame: 3 poles in 7001 T6 aluminium, 8.5 mm
