Himalaya 4000 lightweight hiking tent

For anyone seeking the lowest possible weight, the Jamet Himalaya 4000 lightweight 2-person hiking tent offers a minimalist solution at 1450 g.

It accommodates one person adequately, but please note that it is cramped for 2 because of its limited width and height.

 

This tent is very lightweight yet fairly robust:

- The outer fabric has a 3000 mm waterproof rating, and the groundsheet a 5000 mm waterproof rating

- The 2 poles are made from very lightweight, strong 7001 T6 aluminium.

 

A drawback of single-wall tents is unavoidable condensation. This will be less pronounced when used by one person.

However, the Himalaya 4000 tent has 3 large vents to reduce this problem.

Condensation is reduced on mild nights if you close only the mesh door and keep the outer door open. It is more pronounced in bad weather.

It is therefore a tent offering minimalist comfort for minimalist hikers.
