Summit Air power bank

The Nitecore Summit Air power bank is an 8,000 mAh battery designed for extreme cold: where an ordinary power bank loses charge or switches off below zero, it keeps powering your devices down to -40 °C. Weighing 135 g and roughly the size of an energy bar, it is ideal for ski touring, mountaineering, ice climbing and winter trail running.

A power bank that can handle the cold

According to Nitecore's measurements, it still delivers around 80% of its capacity at -20 °C and 60% at -40 °C, and remains usable at altitudes of up to 10,000 m.
Its carbon fibre casing makes it rigid and lightweight, while IPX8 waterproofing protects it from snow, rain and even immersion. The large button can be operated with gloves: press it to display the charge level on 4 blue indicators and illuminate the markings around the ports, handy at night.

Two USB-C ports and a cable always within reach

• 2 USB-C ports delivering up to 22.5 W, compatible with PD, QC 3.0 and SCP fast charging, for your smartphone, GPS watch, head torch, action camera or heated gloves and socks.
• Two devices can charge simultaneously (15 W total).
• The power bank recharges at 20 W through the IN/OUT1 port.
• The included USB-C lanyard cable stays attached to the power bank, so it is always there when you need it.

Recharge it between 0 and 50 °C: below zero, it powers your devices but must not itself be recharged.
