SteriPEN Ultra UV water purifier

The portable Steripen Ultra UV water purifier offers a particularly useful alternative to water purification tablets such as Micropur.

It purifies 0.5 litres of water in 48 seconds!

This UV water purifier for hiking is lightweight (140 g) and compact, making it easy to carry in a pocket or backpack.

For added convenience, it is rechargeable thanks to an internal lithium battery with a USB port.

You can therefore charge it using a mains adapter, a computer or even a solar panel, with the supplied USB cable.

For easy operation, the Steripen Ultra water purifier has a status display showing the battery level, sterilisation progress and UV lamp status.

 

It works on a simple principle:

The SteriPEN uses its UV lamp to purify water by destroying the DNA of bacteria, protozoa and viruses. 

The sterilised water becomes safe to drink in seconds.

 

Stéripen is effective against:
