Vario water filter

The Katadyn Vario water filter is extremely effective and ideal for hikes or excursions.

It offers a particularly appealing alternative to water purification tablets such as Micropur.

The Vario filter effectively removes bacteria, protozoa, cysts, algae, spores and sediment. 

  

How the Vario filter works:

It is extremely simple and effective to use, with 3-stage filtration:

• A high-performance fibreglass filter;
• A ceramic prefilter used selectively according to the water's turbidity;
• Activated carbon to remove odours.

For a flow of up to 2 litres per minute, use the fibreglass filter and activated carbon.

For very turbid water, simply fit the ceramic prefilter upstream to extend the fibreglass filter's life.
