Jaya 2 ALU lightweight hiking tent

The Jamet Jaya 2 ALU lightweight hiking tent meets the needs of hikers seeking a spacious, ultralight, durable 2-person tent. Less expensive than the MSR Hubba Hubba NX, it is just as spacious, light and waterproof. Ideal for summer use.

Generous space for two people with low weight

The Jaya 2 ALU is a freestanding tent using a double-forked pole.

The inner tent is spacious enough for two people:

• The 105 cm roof height makes it comfortable for 2 to sit up, helped by a transverse aluminium pole creating vertical walls for generous space from floor to ceiling.
• The inner floor accommodates 2 regular sleeping mats without crowding, with room left for a little storage.
• Its length suits taller people, unlike many lightweight tents.

Its 2 large porches each store a backpack and footwear. The 2 entrances let you come and go without disturbing each other.

A durable, well-ventilated tent

The Jamet Jaya 2 ALU lightweight tent is more durable than other lightweight tents through its fabrics: a 30D ripstop polyester groundsheet with sealed seams and a 3000 mm waterproof rating, and silicone-treated polyester flysheet rated to 2000 mm, also with sealed seams.

The inner is entirely mesh for good ventilation on warm-weather wild camps, but offers less cold-weather protection (unlike the MSR Hubba Hubba NX lightweight hiking tent). Vents in the outer flysheet effectively reduce condensation.

2 guyline attachment points on the flysheet provide extra anchoring if needed.

To lighten your load further when hiking in warm, dry weather, the Jaya 2 can be used without its flysheet. Alternatively, use just the flysheet with a custom groundsheet for this tent, sold separately: the Jamet Jaya 2 groundsheet.

• Aluminium pegs
• Carry bag: silicone-treated 15D ripstop polyester with 2000 mm polyurethane coating

For greater strength and lower weight, choose the DAC pole version: the Jamet Jaya 2 DAC tent.
