Freelite 2 lightweight hiking tent

The MSR Freelite 2 tent is an ultra-light freestanding hiking tent for two with impressive features, combining comfort with light weight and durable materials. Everything hikers need for several days of lightweight travel.

Excellent living space

The Freelite 2 hiking tent offers generous space for two. Its 1.27 m inner width gives enough room for two large sleeping mats.

The two side entrances provide independent, easy access for both users. The two porches store backpacks and footwear.

Insulation and robust materials

The MSR Freelite 2-person tent has a double skin for complete insulation.

The micromesh inner ensures good airflow and reduces condensation.

The ripstop nylon inner and groundsheet have a DuraShield waterproof coating, designed to resist moisture for fabric that is waterproof, strong and lightweight. It is known to last 3 times longer than a standard coating.

Versatile and practical

This lightweight 2-person hiking tent is also very compact and well suited to trekking or 3-season camping.

For hikers wanting even lighter luggage, the MSR Freelite 2 lightweight tent can also be used with only the flysheet and poles. This is less comfortable, of course, but removes the inner tent to lighten your pack further.

Supplied with a compression bag, 8 pegs and a repair sleeve.
