The Sea To Summit Pursuit S.I. Mat Large Contour self-inflating mat is quiet, offering an excellent balance of weight, compactness and comfort, with insulation for hiking from spring to autumn.

Lightweight, compact and comfortable:

The Pursuit S.I. Mat Large Contour is 5 cm thick for good cushioning, even when sleeping on your side. By adjusting inflation, this thickness also helps compensate for uneven ground on your hikes.
Its Contour shape gives more room around the torso and shoulders for greater freedom of movement.
The mat feels pleasant and stays quiet if you tend to move a lot at night.

Triangular channels pass horizontally through the foam, removing 40% of its volume and weight. The foam baffles make inflation easier and provide good support, while allowing the mat to roll up compactly. 

3-season insulation:

This self-inflating mat has good thermal insulation (R-value 3) thanks to:

• the use of polyurethane foam;
• its triangular chamber construction;
• its 64 cm width (versus 56 cm for the Regular Contour), increasing the insulated area and preventing cold air reaching you. 

Easy everyday use:

The double non-return valve makes inflation and deflation very easy:

• For inflation:

• open the valve fully: air flows in freely and inflates most of the mat
• then close the non-return flap and add one or 2 breaths to adjust firmness to your needs. The non-return flap prevents air escaping.

• For deflation: reverse the non-return valve and roll up the mat. The flap prevents the mat reinflating while packing it away.

For storage, the Pursuit S.I. Mat Large Contour comes with a side-loading storage sack for easy everyday handling, and a repair kit.
