Tech Wash technical fabric cleaner

Nikwax Tech Wash cleaner for technical clothing lets you wash and care for your rainwear and wet-weather equipment.

 

 

 

This cleaner is recommended for cleaning Gore-Tex and eVent membrane fabrics.

 

 

 

Your waterproof garment may let water in simply because its durable water repellent (DWR) treatment has been compromised by dirt, wear or washing with a conventional detergent.

 

Nikwax Tech Wash cleaner cleans and restores your rainwear's breathability and waterproofing in this situation.

 

Regular washing will improve your equipment's performance.

 

Every 5 or 6 washes, we also recommend reproofing your garment with Nikwax TX.Direct® waterproofer after washing it with Nikwax Tech Wash®.

 

 

                         

Hand washing:

Wear gloves.
 

• Immerse the item(s) in a basin with 6L of lukewarm water (maximum 2 items).
• Use 150ml for slightly/very hard water*, or 100ml for 1-2 items in soft-water areas.
• Rinse thoroughly in clean water.

* If your water is very hard, use 200ml.

 

 

Machine washing:

Before washing, rub stubborn stains with a sponge or soft brush soaked in undiluted Nikwax® Tech Wash®. Remove all non-washable parts. Shake well before use. Follow the garment's care label. Do not use conventional detergent.
 

• Remove all detergent residue from the detergent drawer.
• Place the item(s) in the washing machine (maximum 2 items).
• Use 150ml for slightly/very hard water*, or 100ml for 1-2 items in soft-water areas.
• Set the washing machine according to the garment's care label.
