Spark -9C Long sleeping bag

The Sea to Summit Spark -9C Long down sleeping bag is for cold conditions, offering exceptional lightness, compactness and thermal protection.

It is ideal for hikers or mountaineers seeking minimal weight and packed size with maximum thermal comfort.

Thermal protection: high-fill-power hydrophobic down

The Spark -9C Long sleeping bag has 540 g of goose down with exceptional 850 cuin fill power.

This down benefits from Ultra-Dry Down treatment, which helps it:

• avoid absorbing moisture;
• retain its natural loft;
• dry more quickly;
• repel microbes and bacteria.

The hydrophobic polymer treatment helps retain 60% more loft in damp conditions and absorb 30% less moisture than a conventional down sleeping bag.

Its fully baffled construction distributes this high-performance fill evenly.

The vertical baffles around the torso contain extra fill to provide more warmth in this area. The vertical and horizontal baffle construction prevents the down from shifting and keeps it evenly distributed to avoid cold spots.

 Quality materials and construction:

The overall construction is of excellent quality:

• The 10D nylon fabric minimises weight and bulk. It is water-repellent and highly durable.

• The 10D nylon lining provides excellent breathability.

• YKK zip along 3/4 of the bag's length, with anti-snag feature and insulated draught tube;
• Hood easily adjusted with an elasticated drawcord and cord lock.
  The hood on this latest Spark version has been redesigned and is now deeper.
