The project

In December, Rayon Rando opens its shop at 153 Grande Rue, in the heart of Bourg-Saint-Maurice, alongside its specialist hiking website.

We want it to be a welcoming place where locals and visitors enjoy talking about their outings and find advice suited to their activities and budget.

For the opening and winter season, we are looking for a sales adviser. You will join a small team comprising a store manager and an assistant manager, working alongside the founder.

Day to day

You will welcome customers and help them choose equipment for hiking, trail running, bivouacs or winter outings: footwear, clothing, backpacks, accessories… You will take the time to talk with them, help them try things on and make any necessary adjustments.

You will help prepare for the opening, then contribute to everyday shop activities: receiving deliveries, putting products on display, restocking, taking payments and tidying. Your feedback on customer expectations will also help shape our selection.

The shop and website work together: you may also answer customers' equipment questions. If you would like to, product testing and writing advice articles are other ways to share your experience.

Your profile

You go hiking, trail running or take part in another mountain activity. You enjoy sharing what you know and discovering new equipment.

You are a good listener, reliable and enjoy working in a small team. Sales experience is welcome, but we are also open to people who know equipment well and want to learn the trade. The team will help you get to know the products and tools.

The terms

• Fixed-term contract from December 2026 to April 2027, starting in early December to prepare for the opening.
• 39 hours per week over five days, with two days off and a schedule provided in advance.
• €2,200 to €2,400 gross per month, depending on experience.
• 50% contribution to supplementary health insurance, product discounts and equipment loans for testing.
