The Rab Ascendor AS is a versatile, medium-weight mountain trouser designed for technical terrain in all seasons. Its double-weave Matrix™ softshell (207 g/m²) resists wind and abrasion, its brushed back is soft and the water-repellent treatment is PFC-free. Elastane and the fitted cut allow complete freedom of movement.
The high, flat waistband, partly elasticated, closes with two snaps and sits well under a harness, with loops for a belt or braces. There are two mesh-lined zipped hand pockets and a zipped thigh pocket, a gusseted crotch, pre-shaped knees, crampon-proof reinforcements at the ankles and a zipped gusset that widens the hem over mountaineering boots.
